GREEN

Two years ago, the KEI-week was named the most sustainable introduction week in the Netherlands! We’re still incredibly proud of that! Last year, we unfortunately dropped to second place, but we want to change that and we need your help!

Together with GROENN, a mentorship program founded by organizers of various Groningen festivals, we’re taking steps to make the KEI-week even greener. They advise us on sustainable choices, but it’s the GREEN-team that truly makes the difference.

The GREEN-team plays a major role in this mission. They support the board in executing sustainable plans and are responsible for organizing the sustainability stunt. At each event, you’ll have your own GREEN-stand and come up with a fun activity to raise awareness about sustainability among KEI-lopers and KEI-leaders. Additionally, you and your team will track the CO₂ and electricity consumption during the events, so that the following year we know exactly what to improve!

In short: the GREEN team ensures that Stichting KEI looks at all its events with a fresh, green perspective. Do you have a passion for sustainability and a head full of ideas? Then we’re looking for you!
