To do our part in the climate crisis, sustainable living is becoming the norm these days. However, what exactly is sustainability? In fact, sustainability entails everything that has to do with socially responsible living: the environment, ecology and also future-oriented thinking. It is our job as humans to take good care of humanity and the environment.
Stichting KEI considers sustainability very important. Organizing events is not very sustainable, so we do our best to make the events as sustainable as possible. An example of this is that the electricity we use is green energy and we try to use as sustainable aggregates as possible. In addition, Stichting KEI uses a sustainable purchasing policy. Not only during the events Stichting KEI maintains a sustainable policy but also in the operational management this is carried out. This includes printing as little paper as possible and separating waste.
Stichting KEI is furthermore paying attention to the promotion of bicycles as a means of transport, sustainable partners for the drinks we sell and making use of sustainable bottles and packaging. Furthermore, there is paid attention to the promotion of eating less meat and sustainable living through the GREEN-team committee.
