Inclusivity

In the KEI-week, there is room for everyone! As an organisation, our goal is to give all prospective students an enjoyable introductory period in which everyone can find a place for themselves. If you have special questions about the accessibility of the KEI-groups, events or any other personal matters, you can always contact the organisation at info@keiweek.nl. We will have a look together at how we can take your needs into account prior to the KEI-week, so that you will have a fantastic week!

Support request
If you want to participate in the KEI-week and need any personal support, please read the following page!

We strive to make the KEI-week accessible to everyone. On the application form, you can indicate whether you have a support question or disability. You can also specify this in the application form, in order for us as an organisation to find appropriate solutions. Furthermore, you can also indicate whether you want to be in a KEI-group with other people with a support request, or whether you would like to be placed with your friends.

During the KEI-week, you can always contact the organisation through the general phone number in case you have a question about, for example, transport or accessibility of an event. We will do our best to provide an appropriate solution at that time.

Safe Space

The KEI-week is a fun start to your studentlife in Groningen! But what if something happens that makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe? Then the Safe Space is there for you between 10:00 PM and 04:00 AM.

The Safe Space is a room where you can relax if you feel overstimulated or have experienced something unpleasant. When entering the Safe Space, you will be greeted by a professional team. They will assess your current needs together with you, and if necessary, they can quickly contact first aid, security, and/or the organization. You can also reach the professional team by WhatsApping the KEI-phone (+31 6 22041467) between 10:00 PM and 4:00 AM.
