Advisory Council
KEI Foundation faces complex challenges every year. The changing boards, societal developments, and growing responsibilities of the organization require a strategic and sustainable approach. In this context, the decision was made to establish an Advisory Council. The Advisory Council goal is to support the General and Daily Boards by sharing knowledge, providing insights, and posing strategic questions that contribute to a future-proof organization.
The Advisory Council provides support by focusing on overarching issues and strategic challenges that cannot be resolved within a single board year. These include trends in the events industry, societal themes, financial stability, and organizational development.
The Advisory Council consists of members with relevant expertise, such as in event management, finance, education, and legal matters. The Advisory Council combines the experience of former board members, long-term volunteers, and external professionals who are familiar with the structure and goals of the KEI week. This diversity ensures that the Advisory Council can offer valuable insights from different perspectives. The Advisory Council meets twice a year and serves as a strategic sounding board and knowledge resource for the KEI Foundation.
The Advisory Council makes a valuable contribution to the continuity and future-proofing of the organization. The ultimate goal is to support the Foundation in its mission to organize a high-quality introduction week every year, while maintaining its core values and ambitions. The Advisory Council only has an advisory role, and the final decision-making remains with the board at all times.
