Are you starting your studies in Groningen in 2026? Then this is your chance! From August 10 to 14, the largest introduction week in Europe takes place. This is the week when Groningen truly comes to life, also known as the KEI-Week!
During this week, you will get to know student, sports, and cultural associations, but most importantly, your future city.

Join us at the KEI-Festival!
Curious to see what it’s like to celebrate the end of KEI-week? External and senior students are also welcome to join us at the KEI-Festival!
With performances by artists such as Young Dylan, FLAIR and the Afro Bros, it’s going to be one big party! You can also dance the night away at the Silent Disco and several other stages, grab some delicious and affordable food at the Food Street, and enjoy all the activities across the festival grounds.
In short: it’s the ultimate way to end KEI-week, and you don’t want to miss it!

Want to join the Pub Crawl?
Groningen wouldn’t be Groningen without its many bars, especially around the Poelestraat and Peperstraat! Here, you can dance until the early hours of the morning, because Groningen’s nightlife has no closing time.
During the Pub Crawl, you’ll receive a route that takes you past several bars where you can collect stamps. Make it to the final stop with all your stamps collected, and you’ll receive a fun gadget!
Pick up your route at the Grote Markt before 1:00 AM!
Want to join the Pub Crawl as an external or senior student? You can! A limited number of external tickets are available, so make sure to get yours in time.
Please note: KEI participants, KEI leaders and crew members do not need to buy an external ticket!
